From the tiniest vessel cradled in one hand to the generous log carrier designed for hearth and harvest, my trugs form a family of sculptural objects rooted in heritage craft and contemporary design. Each piece is steam-bent and clinker-built using traditional boat-building methods, fixed with copper nails and roves, and finished in natural wax oil. Sensitive to proportion and flow, they are at once functional and poetic — vessels for food, firewood, and daily rituals, yet equally at home as sculptural centrepieces. Together, they tell a story of making, material, and connection to nature.
If certain wood type options for Trugs aren't available, they can be ordered by commission.
